About Pokies Ledger NZ

Pokies Ledger NZ is a comparison site about online pokies for readers in New Zealand. It does one narrow job: it copies what casinos write about their own cashiers, puts the figures side by side and dates them.

Why a ledger

Most pokies pages rank casinos with stars. A star tells you nothing you can check. A line that says "processing takes this long, according to this page, read on this day" can be checked by anyone. So that is all we publish.

Who writes it

The pages are signed by Nell Harrow. That is a pen name. The site is run by a small independent team that works with operator pages, not with operators. We do not claim credentials, awards or years in the industry. Judge the work by the footnotes.

How it earns

Through advertising. Some links to casinos are paid links: if you open an account through one, we may receive a commission. The advertising disclosure explains what that does and does not change.

What it is not

It is not a casino. There is no login, no deposit form and no game for money on this site. It is not legal or financial advice: the terms of use say what you can rely on, and the privacy page lists what a visit records. And it is not complete: the method page lists what we have not checked yet.
